The certificate, issued by TÜV Rheinland Polska, covers the full scope of our operations: the design, manufacture and sale of corrugated and solid board packaging with print and lamination options, the production of grids and dividers from corrugated and solid board, and the sale of cardboard. The document is valid until 5 May 2029.
ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard that confirms a company’s deliberate management of its environmental impact. Implementing the system means for us:
- systematic monitoring of environmental aspects across the entire production process,
- full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the field of environmental protection,
- continuous improvement of processes and reduction of negative impact of our operations,
- a responsible, long-term approach to running our business.
As the IMS Representative, I am especially pleased with this achievement, because behind this certificate lie months of work, analyses, implementations and the commitment of many people in the company – emphasises Martyna Góralczyk, Integrated Management System Representative at Karton Polska.
The implementation of ISO 14001:2015 is part of our broader strategy of development and transformation towards Industry 4.0, pursued among others within a project co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund.
For our customers, this means above all one thing: the assurance that packaging from Karton Polska is produced in a controlled, sustainable manner and in line with the highest environmental standards applicable on the European market.
