
KARTON POLSKA Sp. z o.o., Sp.k. has received funding from the European Union for the project entitled:
“Implementation of an integrated packaging production system with analytical software and a 5G remote communication module at KARTON POLSKA as a transformation towards Industry 4.0.”
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Programme European Funds for Łódzkie 2021–2027.
The project includes the purchase and comprehensive implementation of:

An automatic packaging production machine – folder-gluer – together with dedicated software supporting comprehensive management of design, service, and analytical processes (1 unit)

Remote access with high-speed 5G internet connectivity (1 unit)
The KARTON POLSKA project involves the purchase and comprehensive implementation of advanced technological solutions in the field of digitalization and automation of key production processes. The investment will enable the company to effectively implement Industry 4.0 principles, such as Big Data, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), IT/OT systems integration, and 5G connectivity.
As a result, the project will significantly improve production efficiency, optimize processes, and increase the company’s technological advancement. The process innovations implemented under the project will enhance operational efficiency, improve production management, and strengthen KARTON POLSKA’s competitiveness in the packaging market.
The project’s target group consists of leading domestic and international manufacturers from the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, automotive, and footwear industries seeking innovative and precisely manufactured cardboard packaging solutions.
Through the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies, the company offers high-quality, customized products delivered in shorter lead times while maintaining sustainability standards. The project is addressed to clients who value modern digital solutions, packaging safety and durability, and supplier flexibility in adapting to specific market requirements.
